Alkemè has a weight and gauge one would expect from a fine piece of jewellery. All Alkemé blanks are 1 mm thick. This provides enough metal material to allow the stamp to make a deep impression.
Alkemé can be easily polished with hand burnish, tumble or flexible shaft tool to get a high shine.
Alternately, using a fine abrasive you can achieve a nice matte finish.
Alkemé can be easily formed with a dapping block.
