Made in copper, this Embeddables round pre-notched four-prong setting can be safely fired with Copper Clay designs. It integrates securely into the piece during firing, ensuring a stable hold. Also suitable for glass fusing techniques and polymer clay applications. This raw copper component will naturally patina over time; to maintain the desired color, apply a protective lacquer. The setting is very soft and not suitable for jewelry subject to heavy wear, such as rings.
