SIO-2 - PRAI STONEWARE CLAY WHITE 0-0.2 MM CHAMOTTE

This white stoneware clay with 40% of impalpable chamotte 0-0.2 mm is ideal for artistic ceramics and allows for shaping and turning pieces with fine details and smooth surface.

Thanks to the high content of chamotte, this clay presents an excellent behavior both during drying and firing.

Its particular ivory white color after firing is highly appreciated, as it constitutes an excellent base for the development of color in glazes and coloring oxides and promotes the growth of crystallizations in glazes.

The clay is suitable for making food-safe tableware, according to ISO 6486 standard, and is available in extruded pliable clay format.
