Special mould, which is suitable for the creation of hollow objects, by casting Slipfast or slips.

This mold allows you to create 1 jug h.150mm with a 140mm diameter base and an 85mm opening.
Measurements are taken from a 1 time fired sample.

Instructions for use
Dilute Slipfast or slip with water to obtain the desired viscosity. Using a jug, pour the product into the mold, filling it to the brim. As the water is absorbed, the level will decrease proportionately, it will therefore be necessary to top up. Leave to act for 10-30 minutes depending on the final thickness required. Empty the remaining liquid which, once filtered, can be reused. Drain well, leaving the small molds upside down for a few minutes (it is best to avoid turning the large molds upside down). Using a tool with a wide, thin blade, open the mold, starting from the base and delicately remove the pieces, which will be fairly hard but still workable to remove joint marks or imperfections. Leave to dry for another 12-24 hours (depending on the thickness) and then proceed with firing for the slip or decoration for Slipfast.
