Miniature on Enamel: Complete Course from Basics to Finishing
with Rebecca Di Filippo
An intensive course dedicated to miniature painting on enamel, designed to provide a complete and structured method, from surface preparation to final firing.
The course is structured to support both beginners and those looking to refine their technique, with a progressive approach that allows controlled and precise work at every stage.
The course is held in Italian and English.
What you will learn
During the course, you will cover all stages of the process in a practical way:
• Preparation of the metal surface and creation of the enamel base
• Transferring the design onto the surface
• Preparation and management of enamel colors
• Precision painting techniques using brush and needle
• Building details and shading in miniature work
• Study of skin tones and complex color harmonies
• Correct use of mediums and mixtures
• In-depth understanding of finishing flux usage
• Firing techniques to avoid defects and burning
The goal is to make you autonomous in creating enamel miniatures, with a method you can replicate after the course.
Each participant will create 1 to 2 miniatures on an enameled copper base, completed and fired during the course.
Depending on timing, more experienced participants may develop a second miniature.
All necessary materials and tools are included and provided during the course.
The course will be confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants
